I’ve only implemented 3-across in Astro. Other styles would be easy with classes gall-2, gall-4 etc.
This is much more straightforward than MDX.
Move as much styling as possible to the global stylesheet. Only the double entry of the image url for Fancybox is tiresome.
There will only usually be one gallery per page.
